The Grip Liquor Story

Two career bartenders were on a plane headed for the slopes talking about their shifts the night before…one of them had dropped a bottle of Absolut (we are working on the new Absolut Grip)  after it slipped out of his wet hand.

Both agreed they hated bottles that don’t have necks and how some are literally just a pain to pick up because of their awkward shape.  For the rest of the flight, the two brainstormed possible solutions that would work for all bartenders.

The two bartenders went back to work - but they also kept working towards a solution to the problem.  After many years and many prototypes, there is now Grip Liquor!

Grip Liquor is a neck extender that screws onto various short and oddly shaped bottles such as Crown Royal or short-necked bottles, like Tanqueray, CannonBlast or Cointreau . Grip Liquor makes bottles easier to find, grab, and pour.  The rubber grip stays in your hand even while wet - allowing you to mix with flare. Grip Liquor comes in various colors so you can locate different flavors much more easily than reading labels in a dark bar. Grip Liquor comes off as easily as it goes on - no more wasted time prying out the pour spout with your bottle popper or tearing up your hands twisting them out - just unscrew the Grip from the empty and screw it on the new bottle - without removing the pour spout!

Every second counts when you're three deep!  Grip Liquor helps improve your speed, your confidence and, ultimately, your tips!

A few brands with short necks, like Tanqueray, get lost on two tiered back bars and aren't visible to the guests.  Grip Liquor flavor identifying colors brings guest attention to the bottle and aligns the short bottles with the rest the bottles on the back bar.

Two guys trying to make a difference for all bartenders have created what they believe will be a staple bar tool.  Try Grip Liquor neck extenders & tell your fellow bartenders ...

The "neck's" big thing to happen to liquor since the pour spout.

A special thanks to Alan & Doug for being amazing help along the Grip Liquor journey!
